Investing in Transit

Join the effort to save mass transit!
We invite you to join with the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA), the CTA, Metra and Pace along with hundreds of partners and thousands of individual supporters as we advocate for needed investments in the regional transit system.

We have an important opportunity to support mass transit needs this year and make a real impact on our region’s economic and environmental health.

The state of Illinois has the chance to pass a long-term, comprehensive capital investment plan that is innovative and bold enough to repair and support our transit system, while reversing years of under-investment.

But this can’t happen without your help.  We need to let our public officials know that we support transit, and that Illinois should not settle for less.  While some steps have already been taken, we must still address the identified $10 billion need for state funds or our system will continue to deteriorate.
